World’s Largest Meat Supplier Hit By Cyber Attack

Brazilian company JBS SA were targets for a large cyber attack this past weekend, the company announced Monday. In a statement by the company, they determined on Sunday that they were “the target of an organized cybersecurity attack, affecting some of the servers supporting its North American and Australian IT systems.”

US Ban Creates New Opportunities For Huawei

While United States President Donald Trump has banned Huawei devices in the US and from them using American services such as Google for quite some time now, Huawei has had to get creative. Huawei can’t use Google’s Android operating system, as well as the Google Play Store, so they’ve created their own OS, Harmony OS, and their own play store, Huawei AppGallery. The Chinese tech company is #2 in the world in mobile phone sales behind Samsung, but that could go down soon if Huawei doesn’t make the necessary improvements on Harmony OS, AppGallery, and other types of software.
